This amazing thing that happened,
I'm now calling it a miracle.
i'm certain this is the very first time i got hooked onto reading!

it just happened the past sat when i helped Pika make a trip to the lib to return a book, and i just walked in to enjoy some air con, at the same time check if i had any unpaid fines. from there, the thought just struck me to walk to the 2nd level so see if any book will catch my attention!(probably 'cause i missed those days i spent in the tamp lib mugging so hard for O's!)
anyway, yeah that fateful day i borrowed 2 thick books. i thought if 1 turned me off, i could try the other! but apparently i didn't have to resort to that, 'cause i've finished reading the first one!
i'ld rather not use the com, not watch the tv, not talk, and just concentrate on reading on my bed for hours till my sis needed to sleep, till my mum nagged me to go to bed. i read on the bus, and almost decided to read that book while i walk on the road like some nerd!
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS BUT THIS IS HAPPENING!
a sitution that i've never expected myself to be in, it happened.

and today! i was around in school, and spent some time in the sch lib. wanted to borrow this partiular book, but didn't dare to ask the librarian 'cause i prob wasn't allowed to.. so left the lib feeling a lil 'hmmph..', haha understand? but yeah! while plodding down the stairs Joy waved to me! hohoho and i said, " eh! hello!" and this idea struck my head, i said ," can you do me a favour? are you free now? can help me borrow book from lib?? thank you leh!!" ya lo! and Joy followed me up and i got my book! halfway into it now, heee i'm still surprised and a lil shocked that i'm excited to read!

i just... hope that i would continue to read with passion and enthusiasm, like now! i guess, more or less, I've finally found my cup of tea, for books. ;) i really hope this is not some 3-minute rush just for fun, or just some temporary crush that i developed for reading..
In fact, i hope i'm addicted, 'cause i see the interesting side of books, finally.
