Alvin! if you're reading this, i just wanna say : Live by faith, not by sight, neither do we by hearing.
this was the message for today's prayer meeting. just before that, we were down at Pasir Ris park for class gathering, and we happened to talked a lil about this topic, something along this line of conversation. and this message came really timely! it was really an assurance for me. don't doubt Him okay, Bro. sometimes we just won't understand how God does His work, questions like " why is this happening? ", "why is He making lives so difficult for us?", " Isn't He God? Isn't He the most powerful? Why does He allow this then?" Such questions have been asked by soooo many, many many countless people. even myself, i have to say i doubted. why this, why that. but i believe all we gotta do is to just simply believe.

God doesn't work as logically as how we think it should be, because firstly He is not human, God is SUPERHUMAN! Secondly He just works in miraculous ways we'll never seem to understand. SO, we don't have to crack our brains so hard to think of logics and the perfect answers to fit in those questions. ya? 'cause it won't work! i think God is toooo smart for us, we won't understand Him, how He do things, how He solves problems. He is far too intelligent that His perfect ways may seem illogical to us, and similarly, it becomes so that we thinks that it is just impossible for Him to do things in His way because it doesn't make sense to us. i think maybe God is then the logical one, the one doing things that make sense, while we humans are being illogical, the ones not making sense! maybe we just forgot that He is God! its just as simple as it is, as straight-forward as this - just believe. Let's just believe okay! :D

of course the above is not solely just for Mr Alvin Lakmudin to read yeah. ;)

Class gathering this afternoon was great! especially the captain's ball game. can you imagine? 26 ppl playing captain's ball y'know! AND we managed to involve every single player! SEE! that's the spirit and uniqueness of 4E7 2009! we really see every single person smiling, laughing as we play. i myself had lots of fun screaming and shouting out names. :D
seriously, 4E7'09 rock! we don't have to produce top students to be the best yeah? if we do, of course it is a bonus. but on top of that, we are all winners! we won friendships, true friendships i believe. isn't this a bigger blessing, a more worth it, value-pack package? heee. we are a class, and i feel that our class is somewhat like a family, too. :)
hahahaha, thinking back at the scenarios many of the people chase after the ball, fighting so hard, playing so hard, laughing so hard, it do feels good. HAHA, so many times we threw the ball at the tree instead of the catcher. hope the others can make it to our next gathering!

Thank you, Lord. especially for telling me not to give up, not to lose hope. i was just so close to giving up.. Thank you for telling me you never break promises, you are still a faithful Father. Although i can't imagine, i simply just can't visualize how that scene is coming true.. i'll just keep the faith going, i'll continue to draw strength, hope, peace, patience, and love from you yeah!

oh ya! and rem i was hoping so hard for the job at the hotel as a waitress? rem i was praying so hard for the manager to call me to confirm about the job?? the manager FINALLY called me! but i'm not going there anymore.. although i hope i could.. i want to be a waitress leh.. haiya. but school's starting like in less than 2 days, i have no choice! Qiuying you looking for a job right?? are you still searching? you can give it a try if you're still interested! they seem to be still short of people, judging from the way the manager spoke. yeah, you can go for me ok! :D
heehee, there're actually quite a few part-time jobs that i want to try out y'know! waitress, customer service, dish-washer, and air stewardess! heh, 1,2,3,4, these 4 are my dream part-time jobs.
